Project Overview

Proof-of-space cryptocurrency mining relies heavily on hard drive storage capacity and requires numerous drives running continuously. This creates significant thermal management challenges, as excessive heat can negatively impact drive performance, lifespan, and overall system stability.

During the cryptocurrency mining boom, commercial hard drive enclosures were extremely expensive and often unavailable. This project addressed the need for a cost-effective, custom solution that could accommodate multiple drives, provide effective cooling, and be easily expanded as mining operations grew.

Design Challenges

Thermal Management
